Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Mexico Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the performance of the top five navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Mexico showcased interesting trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed view of these trends.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 68K and 98K. Notably, the highest downloads were observed in the week of May 15 at around 98K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from about 3.6M to 3.8M, peaking at 3.8M in mid-June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent pattern in downloads, varying from 13.6K to 17K. The peak occurred in early May with 17K downloads. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, starting at approximately 475K and ending at 488K, with a noticeable dip in mid-June to around 426K.

Google Earth saw relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging between 5.8K and 7K. The highest download count was in the last week of June, with about 7K. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, generally hovering around 46K, with a peak at 48.6K in late June.

Tu Tag PASE downloads ranged from approximately 3K to 4.8K, with the highest number recorded in early April. Active users stayed stable, ranging between 39K and 41K, with a small peak of 41.4K in late May.

Circuit Route Planner exhibited a steady increase in downloads, starting from around 463 and reaching up to 830 by the end of June. Weekly revenue showed consistent growth, peaking at $750 in both mid-April and mid-June. Active users also increased gradually, from about 1.1K to 1.5K over the quarter.
